I am delighted to announce the premiere of my new piece ‘Dust’ will be taking place on Sunday 23rd March 2014 at Christ Church in Frome.
‘Dust’ is a piece set to the words of a short poem of the same name, by writer James Anderson. We have been collaborating together on several ideas and this is the first piece of the collaboration to be performed in public.
The piece will be performed by Men With Horns, a male voice choir led by Steven Hollas (piano) and conductor Mike Daniels. The warm sound of this choir is accompanied by the Cornucopia Horn Quartet. Performing a variety of repertoire from the Romantic era, this evocative pairing of male voices with horns and piano is quite a special experience.
‘Dust’ will be performed alongside a fantastic programme of music by Rossini, Schubert and Bruckner.
The concert starts at 5pm on Sunday 23rd March 2014, at Christ Church, Frome, BA11 2LN
